Compensation and Benefits

NCPA compensates its teachers with a competitive salary based on years of full-time teaching experience and on the educational level attained.

Benefits:

Retirement 6% of the Employee's base salary at the end of each successfully completed school year.
Housing Furnished apartment provided on campus or within 5km of school; walking distance to public bus lines.
Medical and dental Health and dental insurance provided on a shared (60/40) premium basis. Close relationship with International Clinic in Shenzhen.
Taxes All applicable Chinese tax assumed by the school.
Commute Shuttle service between off-campus housing and campus.
Transportation within Pearl River Delta School van and driver for local staff errands (subject to availability; school business has priority). Subsidized weekend buses direct to Guangzhou or Shenzhen.
Utilities Covered up to 1000USD per household per year.
Moving expenses

Provided on initial and at end of contracts. Up to 1000USD for singles and 2000USD for couples reimbursed upon provision of receipts.

Settling-in allowance 250USD for singles and 500USD for couples paid on arrival in Chinese RMB.
Annual home leave Cash equivalent to lowest economy class round-trip to Home of Record. Non-teaching dependents not included. Fare to be obtained from three quotes comparison done in February. Arrival ticket to China on initial contract provided by school.
Visa assistance

Visa related expenses covered to secure initial documentation and renewal. Expenses only for employed teachers. Assistance but not expenses provided for dependents.

Professional development allowance

Up to 800USD per year paid (direct or reimbursed) for expenses related to pre-approved professional development activities aligned with professional growth plan.

Re-signing bonus $1,000 for one-year renewal contract offered to returning faculty; $ 5,000 for two-year renewal contract.
Service Award $10,000 after 5 years of NCPA teaching.
Personal leave Three days annually as pre-approved.
Sick leave Ten days annually.
Other Life insurance, bereavement leave (no airfare), evacuation plan.
Voluntary Retirement Saving Plan
4% Employer match of retirement savings; Vested after 5 years of service.
