Celebrates Successful Debut with 168 AP Students Honored
This past May, GUIS students sat for their Advanced Placement (AP) examinations on campus for the very first time. This also marked the school’s inaugural AP testing session since being officially authorized as an SAT and AP test center by the College Board in 2024.
In this year’s global AP examinations, 168 students from the American Division stood out with remarkable performances, earning a variety of AP awards. The number of award recipients increased by 37 compared to last year and by 73 compared to the previous year, reflecting significant growth. Awards included the AP Scholar Award, AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar with Distinction and AP Capstone Diploma, among others. The honorees include 93 graduating seniors from the Class of 2025 and 75 current students.
