The Latest Events of the Counseling Team
On September 5th, the counseling team held the first monthly information sharing session for parents in all grades in the new school year. Collaborating and communicating with parents is one of the most important jobs of our counselors. These sessions help parents better understand the psychology and state of adolescent children, western education system, American education culture and college enrollment information. Besides that, another essential job of counsellors is providing personal and professional college planning for each student. Each year, the counselling team invites more than 60 universities and colleges to visit NCPA. On September 14th of this year, we invited the admission representatives of the University of Connecticut. During the detailed introductory session, students not only had the opportunity to know the latest information of the university, but also had face-to-face conversations with the representative.
