What are GUISers doing after 3:30 p.m.?
From Monday to Thursday afternoons, students can choose from over 200 Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) covering academics, arts, sports, community service, and more. All of these activities carry academic or social value, and attendance at CCAs is still expected to take priority over other activities during these periods.
Since last week, CCA sessions have been in full swing. After 3:30 p.m., the gym, tennis courts, swimming pool, and track and field fill with students—some training with school teams, others participating in a sport for enjoyment.
At the same time, classrooms and studios are just as active. From robotics and music to drama, pottery, creative writing, languages, and crafts, students pursue their interests and develop skills through hands-on experience.
Student-led clubs add to the energy. Through Model United Nations, the Tri-M Music Honor Society, the VIBE student store, and more, students practice leadership and teamwork while contributing to the school and wider community.
