Graduation Ceremony 2025 

On May 25th , NCPA held the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025. This event was not just a farewell to their youthful years but also a moment to set sail for their dreams and future. The ceremony held special significance—it was NCPA’s first graduation held on the new campus.  

Accompanied by the music of the Graduation Ensemble conducted by Dr. Bloss, the graduates, clad in their caps and gowns, walked into the auditorium under the proud gazes of their teachers and parents. As they received their diplomas from the principal and moved the tassels of their graduation caps from right to left, these young individuals officially stepped into a new chapter of life. When their caps soared into the air, their youthful tale came to a close—but the story of their dreams had only just begun. 

Chinese Battle of Books 

On April 29-30, our Chinese Department hosted the 8th Chinese Battle of the Books. Before the competition, students thoroughly studied a selection of assigned books. The contest adopted a team-based format, testing participants' knowledge through questions covering plot details, character analysis, thematic exploration, and more—challenging both their memory and comprehension. More than just an extension of classroom reading, this literary and competitive event became a vibrant celebration of teamwork and intellectual exchange. 

End of Year Concerts 

The performing Arts department presented four End of Year concerts at the end of the school year. On April 22nd , Mr. Sturtevant and Ms. He led the choir students in presenting a refreshing "Pop Concert" themed "A Night at Movies." On April 24, Dr. Taborda and Dr. Bloss directed band students to deliver a majestic band concert. On April 29, Dr. Bloss directed the Jazz Band in a vibrant, soulful musical celebration filled with dynamic rhythms.  At the end of each concert, all graduating seniors from the ensembles took the stage to bid farewell.  

The Intro to Music concert on May 14, meanwhile, marked a truly significant "debut" for the Grade 9 students in the Intro to Music course. 

Earth Day Activity led by Science Department and Library 

On April 21-22, the Library and Science Department jointly organized the "Earth Day scavenger hunt" to raise environmental awareness and encourage students to engage in sustainable practices. Centered on the theme "Empathy for the Earth," the activity inspired students to appreciate our planet’s fragility and beauty through both scientific and humanistic lenses, fostering a deeper sense of environmental responsibility. By exploring eco-related topics through books, NCPA students demonstrated their intellectual curiosity and commitment to environmental stewardship.
